Who we are

JR Flooring is a tile, porcelain and luxury vinyl flooring installation and bathroom remodeling company based in Melbourne, Florida, serving Brevard County and the surrounding area. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean JR Flooring. "You" means anyone who visits this website or contacts us.

What we collect

Information you give us directly

When you fill out the estimate form on this site, or text or call us, you may give us:

• Your name and phone number
• Your ZIP code, and the address of the job if you choose to share it
• Details about the work: room, approximate square footage, timing, whether you already have the material
• Photos of your space that you text us so we can price the job

We ask for what we need to give you a number. Nothing on our form requires a Social Security number, a date of birth, or payment information, and you should never send those by text.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site's hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, the pages you opened and when. We use this only to keep the site working and to understand roughly how many people visit.

Text messages

Texting is how this business runs. You send a photo of your space, we send back a real number. Because of that, your phone number is the most sensitive thing we hold, and we treat it that way.

What you are agreeing to

When you check the consent box on our estimate form, or when you text us first, you agree that we may reply by text message and by phone call about your request. Messages come from a real person on a real phone, not from an automated dialer.

• Message frequency varies. In practice it is a short back-and-forth about your job, not a campaign.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP and we will tell you how to reach us.
• Consent is not a condition of buying anything. You can always call us instead.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to:

• Prepare and send you an estimate
• Schedule a walkthrough and the work itself
• Answer your questions before, during and after a job
• Keep our own records of quotes and completed work

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it.

Photos of your home

Photos you send are used to price and plan your job. We will not publish a photo of your home, finished or unfinished, without asking you first. If you would like us to use a photo of the finished work on our website or Google Business Profile, we will ask, and you can say no at any time — including after you have already said yes.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers handle information on our behalf, strictly to run the business:

• Our website host, which stores this site and its server logs
• Our mobile carrier, which carries the text messages, as any carrier does
• Advertising and analytics providers, if enabled — see below
• Workers on your job, who may be told the address and scope in order to do the work

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a legal dispute. Those are the only exceptions.

Cookies and advertising

This website does not currently place advertising or analytics cookies on your device. It loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive your IP address in order to deliver the font file.

We do expect to advertise on Google. When we do, Google Ads and Google Analytics will set cookies to measure whether an ad led to a phone call or a form submission. Those cookies tell us that an ad worked; they do not tell us who you are by name. You can control them in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is not currently answered by this site, because there is no agreed standard for what a response should mean.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them for the work and for our business and tax records — generally several years for completed jobs. Requests that never turn into a job are kept for a shorter period. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices

• Stop the texts. Reply STOP to any message.
• Ask what we have. Contact us and we will tell you.
• Ask us to delete it. We will, unless we are required to keep a record of completed work.
• Correct it. Tell us and we will fix it.

We will not treat you differently — no worse price, no slower service — because you exercised any of these.

Children

This site is meant for homeowners and property owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
